Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance, facilities coordination, field service, or commercial service management.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience managing facilities coordinators, service technicians, dispatchers, or similar service personnel.
• Hands-on experience with work-order intake, assessment, assignment, scheduling, and technician dispatch.
• Working knowledge of commercial facility repairs, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience coordinating vendors, subcontractors, and service providers.
• Experience preparing or reviewing estimates, quotes, bids, or scopes of work.
• Ability to monitor service performance, manage priorities, resolve escalations, and meet SLAs and KPIs.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and team-development skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Signal Hill, California.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 11 Facilities Coordinators and 2-3 Service Technicians.
• Oversee incoming work orders, assess service requirements, and coordinate the timely dispatch of technicians.
• Manage repair, preventive maintenance, emergency service requests, and small projects.
• Schedule workloads and ensure efficient coordination between facilities coordinators, technicians, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate estimates, quotes, bids, and scopes of work.
• Monitor service-level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), response times, work-order aging, and completion rates.
• Manage client escalations and ensure timely, effective resolution of service issues.
• Coordinate vendor performance, service quality, pricing, documentation, and follow-through.
• Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, training, and development of team members.
• Identify opportunities to improve service workflows, operational efficiency, and overall customer satisfaction.
• Ensure service requests are handled efficiently and meet established quality and performance standards.
