Job summary

BJC Medical Group, part of BJC HealthCare, seeks an experienced Practice Manager to lead operations across 3 departments and 6 locations with 20 staff and 9 providers. Travel between locations is required, focusing on patient experience and staff development.

The role collaborates with Practice Administrators and leadership to meet financial and administrative goals, including staffing, training, and workflow optimization across ambulatory sites in the Midwest region.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-site healthcare operations.
• Strong staff development and performance management skills.
• Experience with patient experience initiatives and service recovery.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across multiple practice locations
• Manage payroll, scheduling, staffing, and employee training
• Foster a culture of accountability, trust, and teamwork
• Support practice development, operational improvement, and patient satisfaction
• Oversee billing, coding, insurance processes, supply chain, and inventory management
• Utilize Epic and other CIS to optimize workflows
• Partner with providers and leadership to achieve practice goals
