Job summary

BJC Medical Group seeks a Hospitalist Practice Administrator to lead the business and clinical operations at one or more ambulatory clinics. You will supervise 15–25 providers, manage staffing and patient experience, and partner with hospital leadership to meet operational goals.

The role requires hospital medicine experience and strong scheduling/financial acumen, with a focus on operational excellence and high reliability practices.

Qualifications

• Hospital medicine experience is required or highly preferred.
• Experience in scheduling providers and managing staff workload.
• Familiarity with Amion or Qdenda scheduling tools.
• Experience with locum agreements and contracts.
• Strong understanding of financial metrics and staffing costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead business and clinical operations for ambulatory clinics.
• Direct supervision of 15–25 providers and staff.
• Oversee patient experience and department budgets.
• Collaborate with hospital departments to meet goals.
• Drive daily huddles, workflow improvements and issue escalation.
