Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a housing community, including staff, leasing, maintenance, finance, and risk management. You will lead on-site teams, ensure compliance with policies, and drive resident satisfaction.

The role emphasizes affordability programs, budgeting, marketing, and effective supervision of staff to deliver superior property performance and compliance with housing regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site staff and manage all phases of property operations.
• Develop yearly operating budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor rent collections and vendor invoices; ensure timely reporting.
• Develop and implement marketing plans and leasing strategies.
• Address resident complaints and implement retention programs.
