Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to support delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will learn multiple routes, deliver clean garments, and ensure timely service while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include handling invoices, audits, and vehicle upkeep, with daily collaboration across service and management teams. A valid driver’s license and DOT compliance are required, along with a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• DOT requirements including physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED or military service.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using new technologies.
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes and learn customer-specific details.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes; collect and return used items.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Resolve customer requests independently with problem-solving skills.
• Accurately manage invoices, conduct inventories, and maintain vehicle safety and appearance.
• Follow traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with Service and Management to support installations and route rerouting; upsell where appropriate.
• Share feedback with location leadership and stay informed about local market activity.
