Job summary

The role involves engaging with agency stakeholders, project execution, and continuous improvement, with responsibilities spanning issues management, resource planning, project coordination, and user training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent, or a proven track record of IT experience required.
• Minimum 6 years of IT experience and at least 3 years IT management experience.
• Experience managing an IT operations team and budgets; ITIL best practices a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, document, analyze and respond to critical events and crises.
• Hire, coach and evaluate team members; plan capacity and staffing.
• Manage projects to deliver on-time, on-budget; engage with PMO when needed.
• Provide technical consultation and develop long-range strategy for technology.
• Communicate status to business and IT stakeholders; manage expectations.
• Support training for small and large groups on new IT solutions.
• Work flexible hours and travel between sites as required.
