Job summary

Asset Living in Austin, TX is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community portfolio. You will manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, finance, administration and risk, ensuring compliance with company policies and fair housing guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or 4 years housing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Use consistent techniques & company directives to screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Deal effectively with performance problems; document adequately and coordinate with HR.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and provide monthly evaluations.
• Achieve highest net operating income via cost control and revenue/leasing improvements.
• Monitor and reconcile deposits, rent collections, and vendor invoices.
• Travel 25-50% of time for property visits and meetings.
