Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Regional Manager to oversee operations of a housing portfolio nationwide, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, and financial management. You will supervise staff, ensure policy compliance, and drive performance while maintaining high resident satisfaction.

This role requires travel, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of housing regulations; CAM/ARM and budgeting experience are a plus. Collaborative leadership and a record of results are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years experience in housing/management.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff using consistent techniques.
• Provide ongoing staff training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Handle salary increase requests and coordinate with HR when needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies; manage HR communications and documentation.
• Approve timesheets, vacation and sick time, and signatures.
• Develop and manage operating budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Monitor rent deposits, collections, and vendor invoices for accuracy.
• Develop yearly marketing plans and leasing strategies to maximize occupancy.
• Oversee leasing, showings, and move-ins; maintain resident communication.
• Ensure maintenance responsiveness and timely service requests; inspect properties.
