Job summary

Fortis Property Management is seeking a Floating Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager across Harper Landing/The Costal. You will help lease units, handle resident inquiries, and ensure smooth daily operations.

Working with leasing agents, maintenance staff, and vendors, you will manage accounts payable/receivable, data entry in Yardi, and help meet budget goals while delivering excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• Two or four year college degree preferred.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–3 years multi-family property management experience.
• Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, MRI, AppFolio).

Responsibilities

• Assist in leasing the property and promoting resident care and service.
• Work with leasing agents, maintenance staff, and supervisor to meet community goals.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable and on-site accounting functions.
• Enter data accurately in Yardi and support budget achievement.
• Resolve resident concerns and provide superior customer service.
