Job summary

Mueller Furniture & Mattress Co. in Fairview Heights, IL is seeking a Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting across stores, warehouse, and corporate offices.

You will actively source and screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and guide hiring managers through the process with fairness and empathy. This on-site role requires 2–3 years of recruiting experience, experience with Indeed or other boards, and proficiency with ATS and Google Workspace.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of recruiting experience, active sourcing, and managing multiple openings.
• Experience with Indeed or similar job boards and ATS required; retail/multi-location recruitment preferred.
• Experience with conflict resolution, employee relations, or performance documentation preferred; HR certification or progress toward one is a plus.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for stores, warehouse, and corporate roles from intake to offer and start date.
• Actively source and headhunt candidates to build pipelines for frequent hires.
• Write compelling job postings and manage job boards and budgets to attract local candidates.
• Conduct phone screens and first-round interviews, evaluating skills and cultural fit.
• Coordinate interview schedules across managers to keep processes on track.
• Provide timely follow-up to candidates and ensure a professional Mueller brand experience.
• Track open positions and pipeline activity and report progress to leadership.
• Support employee relations and documentation with HR advisors as needed.
