Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is seeking a System Director of Dining Services to lead food and nutrition operations across multiple acute care hospitals within a defined geography. You will direct a team of Directors, manage the system budget, ensure patient care quality and sanitation, and partner with clients to meet service expectations.

Qualifications emphasize degrees in food services management, 7+ years hospital experience, and strong leadership; ServSafe and RD/CDM

Qualifications

• B.S. in Food Services Tech/Management or related field; A.A. with 7+ years experience acceptable.
• 7+ years hospital foodservice operations experience preferred.
• Experience in multi-unit acute care hospital foodservice management desirable.
• 9+ years of direct foodservice operational management with inventory and purchasing knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of food trends, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation.
• P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience desirable.
• Strong supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in MS Office, email, Internet.
• ServSafe Certified.
• CDM or RD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client and customer satisfaction with efficient, cost-effective management across all sites.
• Manage all foodservice activities including patient care, retail, catering, quality, sanitation.
• Oversee systems to meet strategic and operational client objectives.
• Visit patients to ensure management or professional team meets them during hospital stays.
• Lead system-wide team of Directors.
• Manage system budget.
• Other duties as assigned.
