Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is a leader in healthcare food and nutrition services, serving more than 1,000 hospitals and health systems nationwide. The System Director of Dining Services leads operations across acute care sites, ensuring high-quality patient dining, patient experience, and cost-effective service.

Preferred candidates hold a BA/BS in food services management, demonstrate 7+ years of hospital foodservice leadership, and have strong P&L and team leadership

Qualifications

• B.S. or A.A. with related experience as described in the job post.
• Minimum seven years hospital foodservice leadership experience.
• Experience managing multi-unit acute care hospital foodservice operations.
• P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience preferable.
• Strong supervisory, leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office.
• ServSafe Certified; CDM or RD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client satisfaction with cost-effective management across all sites.
• Oversee patient and non-patient foodservice operations (retail, cafeteria, catering).
• Align systems and processes with client strategic and operational objectives.
• Visit patients to ensure engagement by management or professional staff.
• Lead system-wide Directors team and manage the system budget.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
