Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks a Systems Director of Dining Services to provide strategic leadership across food service operations within a healthcare system. This is a senior, salaried role overseeing patient care, retail and catering across multiple sites to ensure high quality and cost-effective service.

You will lead a team of directors, manage budgets, and drive improvements in sanitation, infection control, food costs and presentation.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field; or A.A. Degree plus seven years of related experience preferred
• Minimum of seven plus years of hospital or adult home/care experience preferred, depending upon degree
• Nine plus years of direct foodservice operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, cost controls
• P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience desirable
• Strong supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Ensures client and customer satisfaction with cost-efficient management across sites
• Manages all foodservice activities including patient care, retail, cafeteria and catering
• Oversees systems to meet strategic and operational objectives for the client
• Visits patients to ensure care by management or professional team
• Leads team of Directors within the system
• Manages system budget
• Other duties as assigned

Education

B.S. in Food Services Tech/Management

A.A. Degree + 7 years experience

Certified Dietary Manager or RD preferred

Leadership/Coaching

Communication skills

Budgeting/Finance

Sanitation/QA

P&L accountability (desirable)
