Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, seeks a Systems Director of Dining Services to lead strategic food service operations across multiple acute care hospitals within a geography. The role emphasizes patient and non-patient dining, sanitation, and cost controls.

The position requires extensive hospital foodservice leadership, strong budgeting skills, and the ability to coordinate across levels of management, with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Food Services Tech/Management or AA with 7 years related exp.
• 7+ years hospital or adult care exp preferred
• Experience in multi-unit acute care hospitals desirable
• 9+ years direct foodservice operational management experience
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, cost controls
• P&L accountability or contract-managed service exp desirable
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills at various levels
• Proficient in MS Office; ServSafe Certified; CDM or RD preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensures client and customer satisfaction with cost-effective management across sites.
• Oversees foodservice activities including patient care, retail, cafeteria, catering, sanitation and infection control.
• Manages systems and processes to meet client objectives across the system.
• Visits patients with management team ensuring presence during hospital stay.
• Leads Director team within the system.
• Manages system budget and related financials.
