Job summary

Allied Orion Group seeks an experienced Service Manager to oversee the apartment community's physical property, maintenance repairs, make-ready, preventative maintenance, and rehab projects. You will supervise staff and handle groundskeeping/pool duties as needed.

Reporting to the Community Manager and Regional Maintenance Supervisor, you will manage maintenance personnel under direction and ensure compliance with safety standards and schedules.

Qualifications

• Five years of multi-family experience or equivalent.
• EPA Section 608 (HVAC/Freon Recovery) certification required.
• City or State certifications/permits to perform job responsibilities.
• Training in boiler repair, plumbing and mold detection/resolution required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) required.
• Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance staff and schedule activities for the community.
• Coordinate, schedule and respond to resident requests and work orders.
• Prepare vacant units for move-in.
• Provide safety and skills training for maintenance employees.
• Identify hazardous conditions and manage the maintenance budget.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance on equipment and units.
