Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking a field-based energy efficiency program representative to advise homeowners, landlords and building owners on program modifications and savings. The role blends on-site visits with office work, requiring effective communication and strong data handling skills.

You will promote the program, handle rebates, and collaborate with utility clients. A 1–2 year background in energy/utility fields and customer-focused experience are preferred, with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 1–2 years in electric or natural gas utility industry or related fields.
• Energy efficiency and/or energy modeling experience preferred.
• Customer service, sales, or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct installation of energy saving products.
• Promote the energy efficiency program to customers and stakeholders.
• Make outbound calls to existing customers to meet energy saving targets.
• Initiate new business with new customers via B2B efforts.
• Develop and deliver presentations to create awareness about the program.
• Respond to customer inquiries to move projects toward completion.
• Work with utility customers to provide energy efficiency services.
• Enter data into spreadsheets/databases to determine energy savings.
• Assist customers through the rebate application process.
