Sprouts Farmers Market in Nashville is seeking a Grocery Manager to lead the sales and operations of Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and the Beer/Wine departments. You’ll supervise daily activities, ensure product freshness, control costs, and coach team members to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience, strong communication, leadership skills, and a commitment to food safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience in a multi‑department operation.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to give and take direction.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude toward customers.
• Proven leadership to motivate staff and meet financial goals.
• Detail‑oriented with analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Food Safety certification and compliance with health regulations.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Experience with personnel and margin reports and store metrics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and sales for Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine.
• Control costs, monitor labor, and reduce shrink and loss.
• Assist in store preparation for physical inventories and deliveries.
• Schedule staff and manage performance through reviews.
• Recruit, hire, and promote staff in coordination with the Store Manager.
• Lead a team to deliver high quality product and customer service.
• Communicate standards and product knowledge to team members.
