Job summary

CarGuys Inc. is seeking a seasoned General Manager to oversee a multi-dealership group across several locations. You will drive performance in sales and service, lead a team of managers, and champion an exceptional customer experience.

The role requires strategic planning, strong financial oversight, and the ability to implement standardized processes while fostering growth. Travel between sites and collaboration with OEMs are key aspects of this position.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing P&L across multiple locations.
• Strong understanding of dealership operations (sales, service, parts, finance).
• Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams across locations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong business acumen with data-driven decision making.
• Familiarity with dealership management systems and CRM platforms.
• Willingness to travel frequently between locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for day-to-day operations across multiple dealership locations.
• Drive sales performance and profitability across all locations.
• Lead, mentor, and support general managers, sales managers, and department heads.
• Champion superior customer service across all dealerships.
• Develop and execute long-term strategies to expand market share.
• Manage financial performance, including P&L, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Streamline operations and standardize processes across locations.
• Build relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and financial institutions.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards.
• Collaborate with marketing to drive traffic and brand awareness.
• Engage with local community to foster positive reputation.
