Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Billing systems and third-party claims experience preferred.
• Prior experience in medical office or customer service role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register new patients and schedule appointments.
• Maintain daily clinician appointment calendars and modify scheduling as needed.
• Prepare new patient electronic medical records and verify insurance prior to visits.
• Obtain pre-certifications, referrals, and medical documentation according to guidelines.
• Process monthly correspondence related to patient visits and collect co-payments.
• Provide coverage across multiple OT locations and train new PSRs.
