Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Clinical Service Representative II for the FPP Ambulatory Cancer Building on campus in St. Louis.

You will provide clinical office support, greet patients, register them, schedule appointments, verify insurance and referrals, and collect co-pays in a busy outpatient setting. This role requires a high school diploma, BLS certification, and at least two years in a medical office or related customer service environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in medical office or related customer service role.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with form completion; verify insurance and demographic data.
• Register patients, schedule appointments, and manage referrals.
• Collect co-pays and reconcile receipts.
• Verify insurance benefits and assist with billing questions.
• Prepare charts and coordinate reminders and testing scheduling.
