Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a PSR II Float to support front desk operations across multiple Occupational Therapy clinics, including Milliken Hand Clinics, CP, and satellite sites in Chesterfield and St. Louis.

The role emphasizes patient access, scheduling, insurance verification, and accurate documentation. You will travel between locations as needed, greet and register patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and help maintain HIPAA-compliant records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support certification within one month of hire.
• Experience in Billing Systems, third-party claims, and customer service (3 years).

Responsibilities

• Greet and register new patients; schedule appointments and modify calendars.
• Prepare new patient records, verify insurance, and obtain referrals.
• Process monthly correspondence; collect co-payments per policy.
• Provide coverage across multiple OT locations and train new PSRs.
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain front desk policies.
