Job summary

Upperline Health is seeking a friendly Patient Care Coordinator to support our physicians and care teams across several Myrtle Beach area clinics. You will greet patients, collect information, schedule visits, and maintain accurate EMR records (athenahealth).

Your role is frontline, ensuring a welcoming, organized experience that aligns with our patient-first philosophy. Ideal candidates have front-office or healthcare clinic experience, strong communication, and a reliable team-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in a front-office, customer service, or healthcare clinic role preferred.
• Experience using an EMR system; athenahealth preferred.
• Strong communication skills and professional presence.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the front desk representative, answering phones and greeting patients warmly.
• Ensure accurate and timely patient check-in and information collection.
• Assist with appointment scheduling and patient inquiries.
• Maintain on-time clinic flow by notifying providers of patient arrivals.
• Retrieve, scan, update, and maintain patient records in the EMR (athenahealth).
• Collect patient payments and assist with billing-related questions.
• Travel to nearby clinics to provide additional support when required.
