Comparion Insurance Agency is seeking a Commercial Insurance Specialist to help small businesses by providing consultative sales and tailored coverage solutions. You will prospect for new opportunities, build client and referral relationships, and work with multiple carriers to deliver quality coverage and service.

The role offers a base salary with bonuses and uncapped commissions, reflecting a total first-year compensation potential from $65,000 to $125,000.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with common small commercial products: BOP, GL, property, commercial auto, workers’ comp, cyber, umbrella, surety/bonds
• Experience with networking, prospecting for new business and driving top-of-funnel leads
• Experience using agency management systems and comparative raters
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business background plus 1–3 years of insurance or sales/service experience

Responsabilités

• Source and develop new small commercial accounts (revenues under $10M) through prospecting, referrals, networking, and inbound leads
• Counsel and advise prospects and policyholders on protection and coverage needs
• Obtain data to assess risk and present quotes from multiple carriers using agency tools
• Meet production goals for new business and cross-sell opportunities within guidelines
• Coordinate policy placement and renewals and support endorsements, cancellations, audits and claims when needed
• Build relationships with referral agents to generate COI/lead streams
