Comparion Insurance Agency is seeking a Commercial Insurance Specialist to help small businesses find coverage through consultative sales and multi-carrier quotes. You’ll prospect, build relationships with clients and referral sources, and manage policy placement and renewals to deliver excellent service.

This fast-paced role offers base salary plus bonuses and uncapped commissions, with total compensation expected from $65,000 to $125,000 in the first year, depending on performance and location.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with small commercial products: BOP, GL, property, commercial auto, WC, cyber, umbrella and surety/bonds.
• Experience networking and driving top-of-funnel leads from various sources.
• Experience using agency management systems and comparative raters.
• Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
• P&C license or progress toward them; you will be required to obtain if hired.

Responsabilités

• Source and develop new small commercial accounts (revenues under $10M) through prospecting, referrals, networking, and inbound leads.
• Counsel prospects and policyholders on protection and coverage, recommending BOP, GL, property, auto, WC, cyber, umbrellas and surety.
• Conduct front-line underwriting risk evaluation and prepare quotes by obtaining quotes from multiple carriers.
• Meet goals for volume of new business and cross-sell opportunities within guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal partners to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Build relationships with referring agents to create COI/lead streams.
• Provide timely service for endorsements, cancellations, audits, and claims liaison as needed.
