Comparion Insurance Agency is seeking a Commercial Insurance Specialist to help small businesses find the right coverage through consultative sales and tailored insurance solutions. You will prospect opportunities, build client and referral relationships, and work with multiple carriers to deliver quality coverage and service.

In this fast-paced role you will manage a book of small commercial insurance business, advise on protection needs, quote with multiple carriers, and coordinate policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business background plus 1–3 years in insurance or sales.
• Property & Casualty license (or progress toward them). You will be required to obtain relevant licenses upon being hired.
• Experience with networking and driving top-of-funnel leads from various sources.

Responsibilities

• Source and develop new small commercial accounts (revenues under $10M).
• Counsel and advise prospects and existing policyholders on protection and coverage based on needs assessment.
• Prepare quotes and proposals from multiple carriers using agency management systems and carrier panels.
• Meet targets for volume of new business and cross-sell opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal partners to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Build relationships with referring agents to create COI/lead streams.
• Provide timely service for endorsements, cancellations, audits, and claims liaison.
• Stay current on carrier appetite and industry trends.
