Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Specialist, Clinical Engagement to join our Clinical Engagement Center. You will deliver telephonic MTM, health education, and care coordination, improving medication adherence and patient engagement within program guidelines.

The role reports to the Supervisor, CEC Operations and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely access to medications and resources, advancing Navitus’ patient-centered care objectives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician certification required; State license where applicable.
• 3 years of pharmacy support experience or clinical program execution required.
• Strong pharmaceutical knowledge to address inquiries and support medication processes.
• Ability to communicate empathetically and clearly across diverse populations.
• Adhere to HIPAA and healthcare regulations with compliant documentation.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct MTM and Stars Adherence initiatives within protocols.
• Proactively outreach to patients to improve engagement and program participation.
• Coordinate care activities to ensure timely access to medications and therapy.
• Collaborate with CEC team to ensure high-quality clinical services and outcomes.
• Educate patients on program benefits and medication adherence per protocols.
• Facilitate prescription renewals and day-supply extensions with pharmacies or providers.
• Identify barriers to access and connect members with clinical resources.
• Apply professional judgment and escalate non-routine decisions when needed.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and escalation protocols.
• Complete assigned workflows accurately and support department performance.
