Job summary

Dominican University of California seeks a Program Director & Chair MSPAS Program to provide strategic leadership and administrative oversight for the MSPAS program. You will guide curriculum development, faculty and staff management, admissions and student advising, and program assessment to ensure ARC-PA standards compliance and continuous improvement.

The role requires collaboration with the Dean, accreditation activities, and representation at professional meetings.

Qualifications

• Earned master's or doctoral degree in a related field (education, health, psychology, medicine etc.).
• Certification with NCCPA as a PA, current license in California as a PA
• Minimum of eight years' experience as a PA including clinical practice, administrative experience, and scholarship.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a full time academic appointment at the post-secondary level.

Responsibilities

• Oversee curriculum development and modification in collaboration with the Dean.
• Supervise medical director, faculty, and staff involved in the PA program.
• Provide leadership for program organization, staffing, scheduling, and development.
• Lead admissions, student support, advising, and assessments for the program.
• Manage program budget, expenditures, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate program self-study data collection and accreditation activities.
• Represent the MSPAS Program at professional and accreditation meetings.
• Collaborate with Dean and Operations to coordinate scheduling and staffing.
