Job summary

Mount St. Mary’s University is seeking an Academic Director of Didactic Education for the Physician Assistant Program to oversee the didactic curriculum and deliver high‑quality instruction that meets ARC-PA standards.

You will collaborate with faculty and the Program Director, supervise the Academic Coordinator, lead curriculum design and assessment, maintain accreditation documentation, and support faculty development and program improvement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited university.
• Current NCCPA certification.
• Maryland PA license or eligibility to obtain.
• Minimum three years of PA clinical experience.
• Experience with instruction in higher education settings or PA education (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the didactic curriculum and delivery of high-quality PA education.
• Collaborate with faculty and the Program Director to design, maintain, and improve curriculum and assessments.
• Ensure accreditation requirements are met and prepare required documentation.
• Support faculty development and program improvement.
• Lead and supervise the Academic Coordinator and participate in program committees.
