Dominican University of California is seeking a PA Medical Academic Coach (MAC) on a part-time basis to support remediation for MSPAS students at the San Rafael campus. The MAC will conduct tutoring, proctoring, and reassessment activities and help align program policies with ARC-PA standards.

Job Location: Main Campus - SAN RAFAEL, CA 94901Position Type: Staff - Part TimeSalary Range: $50.00 - $50.00 HourlyUnder the direction of the MSPAS Program Director, and in partnership with the Academic Progress Chair and Director of Curriculum and Assessment, the PA Medical Academic Coach (MAC) will support the remediation process for at risk students. This includes but is not limited to conducting remediation activities, proctoring and/or conducting re‑assessment, providing one‑on‑one tutoring or facilitating small group tutoring of students in their didactic and clinical phases of the curriculum. The MAC is dedicated to conducting activities in a manner that promotes student success and lifelong learning. This individual will work closely with the Academic Progress Chair and Director of Curriculum and Assessment, as well as individual MSPAS instructional faculty, to assure that learning needs are met for the PA students. In addition, this individual will provide insight into the review and development of program policies and procedures related to student remediation, as well as contribute to the alignment of the curriculum and educational goals with ARC‑PA standards. They will maintain confidentiality of the individual student, faculty/staff, program and university in all interactions.
