Carrier Access IT, LC is seeking a Systems Engineer II to join the Managed Services team. This role focuses on supporting and maintaining client IT environments, providing advanced technical support, and resolving escalated issues in collaboration with end users, vendors, and internal teams.

The Systems Engineer II will assist with proactive maintenance, documentation, and technology improvements to ensure reliable and secure customer environments.

Qualificações

• Associate or bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of related information systems technical experience.
• Strong working knowledge of desktop support, server administration, networking, cloud technologies, and business application support.
• Experience administering and troubleshooting Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP/DNS, and Microsoft 365/Exchange Online.
• Experience with RMM platforms such as N-able, LogicMonitor, or similar tools.
• Experience with endpoint security solutions and disaster recovery concepts.
• Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Tier 2 technical support for managed services customers, troubleshooting desktop, server, network, and cloud issues.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange Online, Active Directory, and related services.
• Monitor systems to proactively prevent outages and manage patching.
• Create and maintain documented knowledge for clients and internal teams.
• Mentor Tier 1 engineers and support knowledge transfer across the team.
• Contribute to documentation and process improvements.
