Job summary

COURSER is an MSP offering managed IT services. We are seeking a Systems Engineer II to manage and support client IT infrastructures across servers, networks, and cloud services. The role emphasizes security, uptime, and reliable operation, with opportunities for growth within a fast-paced MSP environment.

The candidate should have 4–5 years in systems engineering, strong troubleshooting skills, and be comfortable traveling to client sites as needed. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in systems engineering/IT infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux and virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V).
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation; on-call responsibilities every 4 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure for client environments.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and cloud services.
• Monitor uptime and performance of servers and networks; troubleshoot issues.
• Implement security best practices, patch management, and backups.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and business continuity efforts.
• Document configurations, SOPs, and client communications.
• Collaborate with other engineers and account managers to ensure client satisfaction.
