Job summary

Carrier Access IT, LC is seeking a Systems Engineer II to join the Managed Services team. You will deliver Tier II support, manage client IT environments, troubleshoot escalated issues, and coordinate with end users, vendors, and internal teams to provide effective, timely solutions.

Responsibilities include administering Microsoft 365, Azure, AD, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, and related cloud services; proactive maintenance, documentation, and infrastructure improvements to sustain high

Qualifications

Associate or bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of related information systems technical experience.
Strong working knowledge of desktop support, server administration, networking, cloud technologies, and business application support.
Experience administering and troubleshooting Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP/DNS, user identity management, and Microsoft 365/Exchange Online.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 2 technical support for managed services customers, including Troubleshooting and resolving escalated desktop, server, network, and cloud-related issues.
Administer and support Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, and related cloud services.
Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and document processes for internal/external clients.
Monitor systems to mitigate issues before they impact customers and participate in patch management.
Collaborate with Tier 1 and other teams, mentor junior engineers, and assist with knowledge transfer.
