Carrier Access IT is seeking a Systems Engineer II to join our Managed Services team. You will provide advanced Tier II support, troubleshoot desktop, server, network, and cloud issues, and work closely with end users and vendors to deliver effective solutions.

You will administer Microsoft 365, Azure, AD, Entra ID, Exchange Online, and related services, while proactively maintaining environments and documenting processes to ensure secure, reliable operations.

Qualificações

• Associate or bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of related information systems technical experience.
• Strong working knowledge of desktop support, server administration, networking, cloud technologies, and business application support.
• Experience administering and troubleshooting Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP and DNS, user and identity management, Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online.
• Experience utilizing Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) platforms such as N-able, LogicMonitor, or similar tools.
• Experience supporting endpoint security solutions including Microsoft Defender, Cisco Secure Endpoint, Huntress, or equivalent platforms.
• Familiarity with VDI technologies (Horizon View, AVD) and public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).

Responsabilidades

• Benchmark, analyze, report on and recommend improvements for technology infrastructure.
• Provide Tier 2 technical support for managed services customers across desktop, server, network, and cloud issues.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, and related cloud services.
• Proactively monitor, patch, and resolve issues to prevent outages.
• Create and maintain systems for internal and external clients with moderate guidance.
• Mentor Tier 1 engineers and support knowledge transfer within the team.
• Work at one of three office locations and travel as needed.
• Document knowledge and maintain client communications in internal systems.
