Job summary

Courser is seeking a Systems Engineer II to manage client IT infrastructures within an MSP environment. You will handle server and network administration, cloud integrations, and security implementations to ensure high availability and reliability for multiple client environments.

You will collaborate with engineers, account managers, and clients, supporting migrations, backups, and documentation. Travel to customer sites may be required as part of project work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4–5 years of systems engineering/IT infrastructure experience.
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems, and virtualization.
• Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and automation tools like Ansible/Terraform.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration and support for client IT infrastructures in an MSP environment.
• Lead or assist with server migrations, network upgrades, and cloud integrations.
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and software for clients.
• Manage operating systems, virtualization, and cloud services.
• Monitor performance, uptime, and security; troubleshoot issues.
• Implement security best practices and disaster recovery planning.
• Produce documentation and periodic performance/security reports.
• Collaborate with engineers, account managers, and other teams to deliver solutions.
