Job summary
Peyton Resource Group is seeking an experienced MSP Support Technician II to join a growing technical team supporting business clients across a variety of IT environments. This hands-on role focuses on troubleshooting, working directly with customers, and owning issues from start to finish.
The ideal candidate has Tier II MSP support experience, strong Microsoft 365 and networking knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot onsite and remotely.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on technical support experience.
- MSP experience required.
- Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Microsoft 365.
- Experience with Exchange/Email, Teams, Entra ID, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune.
- Understanding of permissions, licensing, MFA, and Conditional Access.
- Hands-on networking experience with: VLANs, Routers, Switches, DNS/DHCP, VPNs, Wi-Fi, Firewalls.
- Experience with VoIP and TDM/IP-based phone systems.
- Experience with structured cabling and physical connectivity.
- Understanding of low-voltage systems.
- MSP, telecommunications, field service, or similar client-facing technical experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and customer-service skills.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues for business clients across IT environments.
- Work directly with customers and own technical issues from start to finish.
- Support onsite and remote environments; on-call rotation.
- Document tasks and communicate clearly with clients.
