Job summary

ProviNET Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to join our Professional Services Engineering team, designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting network infrastructure for SMB clients in a managed services environment.

You'll work across firewalls, switching, routing, wireless, VPN, SD‑WAN, and secure remote access, balancing service tickets, project work, proactive maintenance, and client communication.

Qualifications

3+ years of network engineering or network administration experience
Experience supporting SMB client environments
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, IPv4/subnetting, DNS/DHCP
Hands-on with firewalls, switches, wireless, and VPNs
Experience in an SLA-driven MSP or IT consulting environment
Ability to document and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure for SMB clients
Support multiple client environments through tickets, escalations, maintenance, and projects
Configure Layer 2/3 networking, VLANs, routing, NAT, and VPNs
Manage firewall policies, secure remote access, and SD-WAN
Participate in on-call rotation and client communications
Create and maintain network diagrams, IP schemes, and documentation
