Job summary

TeamLogic IT, Silicon Valley, CA is seeking an experienced MSP Level 2 Technician to join our IT team. You will deliver advanced technical support to SMB clients, including troubleshooting, network administration, and security management.

The role requires strong customer service and the ability to resolve complex issues efficiently. Experience with MSP tools and remote monitoring is essential, along with a willingness to work flexible hours and travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in an MSP or similar IT support role.
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft MCP are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support to clients, installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software.
• Respond to and resolve escalated tickets to minimize client downtime.
• Manage and maintain client networks including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Implement and manage security solutions and conduct regular security audits.
• Ensure data backups and disaster recovery planning.
• Maintain clear client communication and documentation of systems and activities.
• Assist in planning and executing IT projects within time and budget.
• Train Level 1 Technicians and foster team collaboration.
• Provide on-call emergency support after hours and weekends.
