Job summary

Golden West Corp Services seeks an IT Technician I to respond to customer technology issues, provide quick resolutions, and monitor systems. You’ll support hardware, software, networks, printers, and backups, with on-call rotations and strong customer service.

Qualifications include IT degree or 2+ years' experience, and CompTIA A+/Network+ is highly preferred. Certifications and Microsoft credentials are a plus, with opportunities to grow expertise.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT or related field, or 2+ years of related experience.
• CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ highly preferred.
• Microsoft certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides remote and on-site support for Windows desktops and servers.
• Supports switches, routers, wireless access points, firewalls, and backup systems.
• Maintains printers and peripherals; documents configurations and changes.
• Schedules and deploys firmware upgrades for firewalls.
• Analyzes security detections and network alerts.
• Monitors system backups and restores as needed.
• Maintains detailed documentation of networks, hardware, and contacts.
• Participates in an on-call rotation and upholds confidentiality.
