Job summary

Atrium Health CNSA in Charlotte, NC is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform MRI procedures per departmental protocols and standards. The role involves operating MRI scanners and related equipment, while ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation.

The position is part-time (24 hours weekly) with a Fri/Sat/Sun weekend schedule (8a-4p). A sign-on bonus is offered to eligible candidates; ARRT MRI registry eligibility is required within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

• ARRT-recognized radiologic or nuclear medicine program graduate.
• MRI ARRT registry eligibility or ARMRIT program; registry within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment.
• Verify orders with Radiologist and document procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for MRI exam.
• Maintain safety and sterile practices in the MRI suite.
• Assist in patient care and monitor patient condition during exams.
