Job summary

Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist I for part-time shifts in Charlotte, NC. You will operate MRI scanners, prepare patients, and ensure safety and quality across imaging procedures.

The role includes patient assessment, adherence to radiology protocols, and collaboration with radiology staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging. A sign-on bonus is offered to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment in accordance with protocols.
• Identify patients and explain procedures; verify orders with radiologist.
• Prepare patients, review history, and document on appropriate forms.
