Job summary

Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) is expanding with a new bed tower in Charlotte, NC. We are hiring an MRI Technologist I to operate MRI scanners and related equipment, verify orders with radiologists, prepare patients, and document procedures in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires ARRT MRI registry eligibility and CPR certification, with a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. Weekend shifts and varied hours are included, with a 36-hour work week.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of MRI safety and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI Scanners and related equipment.
• Identify patients and verify orders with radiologist.
• Prepare patients and document procedures.
• Administer IV contrast per protocol.
• Maintain patient safety and assist in emergencies.
• Operate radiology computer systems and document contrasts.
