Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform routine and advanced MRI procedures under the MRI Supervisor. The role requires attention to safety, accuracy, and documentation, with duties spanning pre-scan assessment to post-processing.

You may work overtime and cover other sites as needed, including weekends. Minimum qualifications include AMA-approved Radiology Technology or MRI program graduation, BLS and ARRT credentials, and 1–2 years hospital experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiology Technology or MRI Program.
• BLS; ARRT; maintain licensure and CEUs annually. MRI registry within 12 months of employment; if cross training MRI certification within 18 months and 24 months.
• 1-2 years experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and documents patient information and safety data pertinent to the exam.
• Assesses patient condition/status to ensure suitability for MRI.
• Documents contrast details in EPIC and records allergy information.
• Performs MRI exams with high accuracy following departmental protocols and post-processing steps.
• QC MRI studies and evaluates images for diagnostic usefulness.
