Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with strict adherence to safety and clinical protocols. You will document patient information, assess exam suitability, and ensure accurate post-processing using RIS/PACS.

The role requires BLS, ARRT certification, and 1–2 years of hospital experience, with flexibility for overtime and coverage at other sites.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiology Technology or MRI Program.
• BLS; ARRT; maintain licensure and CEUs annually; MRI registry within 12 months if trained.
• Cross sectional anatomy and MRI hardware knowledge; magnet safety proficiency.
• 1–2 years hospital experience; PACS knowledge or ability to train.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient information relevant to the MRI exam.
• Assess patient status to determine exam appropriateness.
• Ensure MRI safety and accurate 100% follow-through on protocols and post-processing.
