Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ MRI experience (preferred).
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification required.
• RT License required; MRI preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs MR exams of the head, chest, abdomen, extremities, or any MR procedure ordered by radiologist.
• Operates MR scan consoles, lasers, and patient monitoring devices with accuracy.
• Administers oral and IV contrast material safely per protocols.
• Starts and monitors IV lines and logs reactions to contrast in QA records.
• Ensures compliance with Universal Precautions and radiation safety guidelines.
• Attends required in-service trainings and pursues ongoing education.
