Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an MRI technologist to perform MR exams on the head, chest, abdomen and extremities, following radiologist directions and department protocols.

Requirements include minimum 2 years MRI experience, ARRT or ARMRIT certification, RT license, and Epic experience is a plus. Evening shift with on-call duties and a $20,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years MRI experience.
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification required.
• RT license required, MRI preferred.
• Epic experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs MR exams of head, chest, abdomen, extremities, or other MR procedures ordered by radiologist.
• Competent with MR scan consoles, laser cameras, Medrad Injector and patient monitoring devices.
• Follows department protocols and directives from supervising radiologist.
• Administers oral and IV contrast material and starts IV lines.
• Produces accurate exam records and completes requisitions with high accuracy.
• Takes call and responds promptly to scan requests; maintains patient safety and comfort.
