Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA is seeking an MRI Technologist for a full-time, rotating shift. You will perform all MRI exams following ARRT scope of practice, screen patients, place IVs for contrast, and ensure high-quality images and timely PACS transfers. Responsibilities include protocol selection, patient communication, and maintaining accuracy in records.

60 days to obtain AHA BLS. Competitive pay and a $20,000 sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in radiologic technology or equivalent required.
• ARRT or MR technologist certification required; ARMRIT or CAMRT acceptable.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for MRI exams.
• Select pulse sequences and document protocols.
• Ensure imaging is complete and transmitted to PACS.
• Monitor patient safety and IV contrast administration.
• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Assist in teaching students and junior staff.
