Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an MRI Technologist for an overnight position in the Boston area. The role involves performing MRI exams, IV insertions, contrast administration, and patient preparation in accordance with policy and ARRT standards.

You will select pulse sequences, verify image quality, and send images to PACS while maintaining patient safety and communication. A relevant degree and ARRT/ARMRIT/CAMRT registration are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in radiological technology or allied health required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• ARRT/ARMRIT/CAMRT registration required by start date.
• 0–1 year related work experience required.
• New hires must provide BLS certification within 60 days (AHA).
• ARRT or ARMRIT or CAMRT registration by start date must be met.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and positions patients for MRI and ensures comfort and safety.
• Selects pulse sequences and records procedures; may adjust protocols.
• Evaluates image quality and completeness; operates PACS and ensures timely delivery.
• Maintains accurate records and participates in teaching and training activities.
• Responds to patient needs, explains procedures, and monitors for adverse reactions.
