Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our radiology team in New Jersey. The role focuses on accurate MRI protocol interpretation and image generation while adhering to all safety and professional standards.

The candidate will operate MR imaging equipment, manage workflows in EPIC and PACS, and perform IV contrast preparation. Experience with Siemens MRI systems is preferred, along with ARRT certification and BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification and BLS/CPR.
• 2 years MRI experience, Siemens preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of healing while accurately interpreting and performing MRI imaging protocols.
• Practice in accordance with state, federal and professional standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of MR imaging equipment including set-up, utilization, basic troubleshooting and proper care.
• Abide by MR Safety standards and evaluate MR scans for technical quality.
• EPIC and PACS used to manage patient workflow and transmit images for interpretation.
• Competent with IV skills and preparing/administering contrast media.
