Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Positions patient on examining table and places specified coil per protocol.
• Demonstrates use of microphone to communicate with patient during examination.
• Enters data such as patient history and exam details into computer.
• Keys commands to specify scan sequences and adjust equipment.
• Monitors patient safety and comfort from control room.
• Views and assesses image quality on display screens.
• Records images and data during the procedure.
• Warns staff about metal around the magnet.

Education
