Job summary

RadNet in New Jersey is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams and ensure patient safety. You will administer contrast when needed, adjust imaging parameters, and guide patients through the exam with clear explanations.

Requirements include ARRT(R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification, State license if applicable, and BLS. At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred, with comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification is required.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to policies and protocols.
• Administer contrast safely and effectively.
• Adjust TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, and other settings to obtain high-quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam process with clear explanations.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications.
